Regalia
By PJ Temple
A perfectly circular bindi
Between my eyes
Bleeding
Drips down
Constricts my throat
Settles on my red chest
Cymbals of
Promises, promises
Clashing
Gold laced silk sari
Tightly bound
Spools of regalia
Unraveling
Glass bangles shatter
To the bottomless floor
I too am slipping
On remnants
Crimson droplets
Pooled
Beneath
Unfaithful feet
