- Kathleen is an award-winning writer who satisfies her many facets with thought-provoking poetry, fiction, micro memoir, children’s stories, and satirical humor pieces. She is a former magazine feature stories writer and newspaper reporter. But she credits her business career as an advertising, fund raising, and technical copywriter to teaching her less is more. She couldn’t be more relieved that her debut children’s book is in its final edit stage. Kathleen hails from beautiful Northwestern Illinois, better known as the Driftless Area, where the glaciers ended during the last ice age.
