- I practiced law in Kansas for 37 years, then my wife and I moved to Chicago in 2016. While working as an attorney, I picked up a Master's degree in English, thinking it would look good in my obituary. Until that time comes, I enjoy playing golf (badly), fly fishing (with a little more proficiency) and spending time with family (enthusiastically). I've had stories published in The Deadly Writers Patrol (Vol. 18, Spring 2021) and The Opiate (Vol. 25, Spring 2021).
