- Mary writes mainstream literary fiction, and has published four novels: Courting Kathleen Hannigan, Warming Up, Saluting the Sun and One for the Ark. Sales of her books benefit designated charities serving the homeless, the poor and emerging artists. All feature strong women characters and challenging social issues. Mary has studied the novel form with Fred Shafer for the past thirteen years. She is also the author of a musical about golf, honesty and love, Fairways, which premiered at Steel Beam Theatre, St. Charles, to twelve consecutive sell-outs. Her short fiction has appeared in The Florida Review (Editor's Prize runner-up), The Tampa Review, Ars Medica and The Ligourian.
