Clark's first novel is Welcome to Gold Street. Nancy forgoes retirement to move across the country to open a quilt shop in downtown Albuquerque. The book is light and fun fiction about the characters on Gold Street, with a dash of spicy green chile.
Samantha Clark channels her background in commercial real estate and business coaching into the fictional characters of Gold Street, located in downtown Albuquerque, where she lived for more than a couple decades.
She has an interest in textiles which started growing up in Ohio. Her great-grandmother taught her how to quilt when she was five. She would go on to study clothing design at Pratt Institute in NYC and work in textile restoration.
She currently lives in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago, and hand sews textile art, when she's not writing or sailing. -
