Renee James is the pen name of a Chicago writer, editor and transgender activist. After a long career as a magazine editor and writer, James published her first novel, "Coming Out Can Be Murder," in 2012. It won Indie Book of the Year honors from CWA and was republished in 2014 by Magnus Books as "Transition to Murder."
James published "A Kind of Justice" with Oceanview Publishing in 2016 as a sequel to "Transition to Murder", and a third Bobbi Logan novel, "Seven Suspects", will be released by Oceanview Publishing in October, 2017. -
