Karyn is a professional book reviewer. Her reviews currently appear in Chicago Book Review, ForeWord Reviews, Midwest Book Review and at her independent review service, Inkspots Reviews.
Karyn is a published author. Her non-fiction, middle grade book, "Electa Quinney: Stockbridge Teacher," was released on March 24, 2014, from the Wisconsin Historical Society Press. She is currently working on a second book for the Wisconsin Historical Society Press.
Karyn is a member of the Midwest Writers Association and was an instructor at the Writers’ Institute, April 3-6, 2014, in Madison, Wisconsin.
Karyn is a former daily newspaper reporter and editor. She has a journalism degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
