- Dan Brady
- Dan Brady was born and raised in New Hampshire and currently lives on the West Coast of Florida. Palmetto Crossing is his first novel. Before focusing on travel and writing, Dan completed a tour in the Air Force, then a career as a telephone construction lineman and cable splicer while attending college evenings and weekends. After retirement, Dan became a community organizer for a New Hampshire consumer advocacy group and worked alongside inner-city organizations involved in civil rights, voter registration, and community housing. Later, he joined the homeless continuum in New Hampshire’s largest city as their learning coordinator. Always active in organized labor, he was a member of the New Hampshire AFL/CIO Committee on Political Education (COPE) and served on the New Hampshire Public Employee Labor Relation Board. He held the position of associate professor at Hesser College in Manchester, New Hampshire, while an adjunct faculty member of Springfield College in Manchester. In Florida he joined the adjunct faculty of St. Petersburg College in St. Petersburg. Brady and his wife of fifty-one years have one son and are dog and cat people. Trust that his work will be witty, sincere, crude at times, and full of plot twists.
