- Hollis Chopp Williams
- Born in Tucson AZ and raised in New England, Hollis has spent her entire life telling stories in one form or another. Sometimes they were stories about how life is supposed to be and sometimes they were stories about what life could be. She has been a mother and a teacher and a daughter and a wife; a heroine and a villian, a caregiver and an invalid, all of which has informed her writing. But in her thirties she embarked on a Grand Journey of Discovery of Co-Authorship with the Universe and reconnected with her long lost soul mate after 2,000 years. She has spent the past decade or so savoring life's deep valleys, exploring the caverns of anxiety and depression and cultivating a garden of life's experiences, bitter, fragrant, poisonous and medicinal. She takes every opportunity to travel because, in the words of Mark Twain, “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts.” She is currently working on her first novel, The Bone Feathers, with many more to come and she believes that every moment of this existence, both light and dark, sorrowful or joyful, has something valuable to offer our souls growth.
