- Jeffrey Johnson
- A professor of English Renaissance Literature, Jeffrey Johnson is a scholar of the writings of John Donne, Shakespeare, and Milton. His publications include: General Editor of The Variorum Edition of the Poetry of John Donne (Vols. 4.2, 4.3, 5, and 7.2), a monograph titled The Theology of John Donne, and numerous critical articles on Donne, Shakespeare, George Herbert, Richard Crashaw, and Henry Vaughan. His debut novel, THE AMPERSAND PAINTER, received 2nd place in CWA's 2023 First Chapter Contest, and he recently completed a Chicago-based novel titled COLOR LOOP. He and his wife live in downtown Chicago.
