- Frank Cuevas
- Frank’s writing tells the stories of the isolated and forgotten; everyday people who may be struggling from the life they have been thrust into. His writing is greatly influenced by his youth, where he spent more than fifteen years caring for a stroke patient. Frank studied English and Spanish Literature at UCSD. While there he edited and published Generic Lines, a collection of poems, short stories and art by California students and professors. During college, his short story, Cuaderno de Mellito (Mellito’s Notebook) was published in Spanish by New Mexico State University, Las Cruces. He contributed to a special collection of literary work at UCSD, with his translation of the first third of Juan Carlos Onetti’s novel, Los Adioses (The Goodbyes). Frank was a conference interpreter and translator before joining the corporate world. He achieved success in enterprise software with global companies, including Microsoft. He lives in Cherry Valley, Illinois with his wife Maleeah.
