- I currently write a humor column for The Voice, a print newspaper circulated throughout the Fox Valley area. I've won two Writer's Digest Awards, won a couple of screenwriting competitions, and published a novel, The Militarized Zone: What Did You Do in the Army, Grandpa? that received a nice review from Publisher's Weekly among other reviewers, including Windy City Reviews. I'm a former creative director for Sourcebooks, Inc. I'm self-employed as a ghostwriter and book designer. Prior to that, I spent years in advertising as a copywriter and art director. I've just finished a screenplay with a friend in Beverly Hills, which we're currently shopping around. I've worked as a musician and actor on stage, industrial films and features, including Home Alone.
