- Goldie's three novels and her collection of short stories have garnered many prizes and accolades, including Novel of the Year from the Association of Jewish Librarians, the AWP Novel Prize, and Book of the Year from the Independent Publishers Association. She is the grateful recipient of fellowships from the NEA, Dora Maar House, the City of Chicago, Yaddo and Ragdale. Her work was placed on the NEA's Big Read list. Goldie teaches creative writing in Chicago and speaks internationally. She is a founding board member of Eshel, an advocacy organization for LGBTQ Jews, and she has a regular column at The Forward.
