- I've been writing nonfiction for the pet industry for over 40 years, I groom and train dogs. I've won and placed in grooming contests and titled several dogs. I've been blogging about 10 years on various subjects.. I didn't go to college until I was 30, then several professors suggested I publish some academic papers (before the internet...). I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Malawi in 1992 during a 'regime change', and I have also volunteered in Kenya and India. am now writing fiction based on experiences working with pet owners, and my time in Africa.
