We're two weeks away from the mid-year. And some of us are still stuck trying to achieve those resolutions we aspired to back in January. True? And with summer months soon to follow, let's be realistic: our thoughts "migrate" to warm weather, beach activities, backyard barbeques and vacation time. Hello? But, the good news is it's not too late to get in gear, get serious, and make strides in our writing goals. With this in mind, here are a few quotes to inspire you and move you forward. Enjoy!
"Nothing is impossible to a willing heart."
—JOHN HEYWOOD
"Whether you think you can or think you can't—you are right."
—HENRY FORD
"Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body."
—RICHARD STEELE
"The successful man will profit from his mistakes and try again in a different way."
—DALE CARNEGIE
"All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them."
—WALT DISNEY
"I love my rejections. They show me I try."
—SYLVIA PLATH
"It's easy to make a buck. It's a lot tougher to make a difference."
—TOM BROKAW
"Trust yourself. You know more than you think."
—BENJAMIN SPOCK
