Born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, I later lived on West Elm Street and Grace Street in Wrigleyville while working in a sales promotion agency. I later became a teacher, and then ran a language school (adult education) for eighteen years before quitting to write full time. Doing Max Vinyl, my first novel, appeared on Amazon and Smashwords in Spring 2011. The second Annie Ogden Mystery is called Zombie Candy and was released in May 2012. It's not really about zombies, and it's most definitely not about candy!
I balance writing with family duties raising three children together with my wife. I do a fair amount of the cooking and other household chores. I live in Switzerland but am frequently in Chicago to see family and friends, and my books are mainly set there.
