Kevin P. Murphy is a freelance writer living and working in Chicago. His more than 1000 articles – on subjects such as cancer research; computers; education; infant mortality; international politics, regional and military history; theatre, and travel – have been published in newspaper, magazine and Internet venues. He holds copyrights on numerous simulations, articles and activities related to communication, education, group dynamics and problem solving. His full-length play, Something Bright and Alien, was an award winner in the 1998 Ridgewriters (Branch of the California Writers Club) Screenplay competition.
