I started writing about eight years ago now. I was working as a fire fighter back then and after falling off a train and busting up my knee I was to be off for almost six months recuperating. During a visit to the firehouse my shift mates asked me what I was going to do with all my time. I said I might write a book. The folks at the firehouse said I couldn’t do it. Well, here I am now on number five. I’m a retired/disabled fire fighter now by the way. I was on the job for 14 years. I was put out to pasture after an injury in the line of duty and the surgery to go with it ended my career
I self published my first book titled Island Bound. That one is no longer in print. I have one out right now with a small press titled Caribbean Calling. I have another to be released shortly, that one is titled Pirate’s Fall. I live in Glen Ellyn. I'm hitched and I have two brats.
Typically I write Caribbean adventure stories. However, I am branching out in a little non fiction, fiction middle grade stories and cook books. |
